The Storm globe is a stylish weather reflector, featuring crystal formations
within a transparent sphere with a white world map.
It sits on a black wooden base, adding an elegant touch to any space.
These crystal formations react to the weather in a mysterious way and
have been used on ships since the 1750s.
It was even used by Charles Darwin to predict the weather when he
was en route to the Galapagos Islands.
The crystals will change shape depending on the actual weather.
When the crystals are visible, humidity and fog can be expected.
A cloudy glass with small crystals would have told Charles Darwin that
a storm was on the way, and clear glass would mean clear weather.
For best results, place in a room between 10°C and 35°C, away from
direct sunlight, and let it settle for 2-3 weeks.
While not always completely accurate, it beautifully reflects the changing
weather with its combination of classic and modern design.
